Floor plans, 3D — step inside
Now you can step inside: walk the home at eye level, through every floor, with real sunlight, day and night — on top of a measured floor plan you scanned yourself.
or house hunting — and the home you already have.
Scan a home with your iPhone's LiDAR and get a measured floor plan, areas for contractor quotes, a room-by-room budget — and a 3D model you can walk into. Everything stays in your own iCloud: no account, no server, no tracking.
STEP INSIDE
The home is no longer something you look at from the outside. Walk around it at eye level, from basement to first floor, with real sunlight, day and night, and the moon. Switch the lamps on, place furniture and plants, hang pictures — and repaint a wall while standing in front of it.
HOW IT WORKS
- Scan the home in one walk. HouseSense tracks where you are, so the rooms sit correctly relative to each other — and knows which walls are exterior.
- The drawing is ready. A measured floor plan with areas, compass directions and a tape measure. Straightened automatically — but the numbers are always the scan's own.
- Step inside, see the light, share. Follow the sun hour by hour, share the home with your partner, or send a contractor a PDF with areas and budget.
FEATURES
• Step inside: first person through every floor — change floor through floating portals. Real sunlight, day and night, the moon, and lamps you switch on and off.
• Furniture and decor: a furniture catalogue, plants and lamps with real light. Furniture snaps to the walls and to the home's own axes.
• Pictures on the walls: hang the room's own photos, your own picture or drawn artwork — behind glass.
• Floor plan with real measurements: walls, doors, windows and areas — ready as a PDF for the bank or your building adviser. Tape measure with snapping to corners and walls.
• Areas for any quote: tap a room and get floor, ceiling, wall (gross and net) and skirting — exactly the numbers a tradesperson asks for. Every window and door lands in one schedule as PDF or CSV.
• Budget, room by room: price the measured areas — per m² or per pack with the trade's own waste factor. Chain one floor covering across rooms and export a shopping list.
• 3D with sunlight: the model is built from the drawing. Drag through time and watch the light travel across the rooms — June 21st or December 21st.
• Daylight and light profile: how much of each room is window, and how many hours of sun it gets today and across the year.
• Compare homes: 2–3 houses side by side at the same scale — areas, glazing and largest room.
• Move in before you move: bring the furniture from your own scanned home on the house hunt — or scan the sofa in the shop — and see what fits.
• Surroundings: the app finds roads, greenery, water and the nearest shop, school and charger — and points out the quietest room.
• Colours, surfaces and elevations: paint the walls and give the facade a surface and colour — it carries into 3D. A long press shows the wall head-on with measurements.
• Web sharing for the sale (Estate): create a code, and the buyer or agent opens the home in a browser — plan, areas and 3D. No app, no account.
• Fix the scan: remove a wall that isn't there, or fit the door the scanner missed. Everything can be undone — the raw scan is never touched.
• Design with external AI: the app packs the room's real measurements and your wishes for ChatGPT or Copilot, then collects the answers in a report.
• Private from the ground up: no account, no server, no tracking. Your scans live in your own iCloud.
