AegisLink is an end-to-end encrypted messaging app that is anonymous by default and designed not to store metadata—neither who you talk to, when, nor how often.

NO PERSONAL DATA REQUIRED TO START Sign up without a phone number, email, or real name. Your cryptographic identity is generated and stays on your device: the private key never leaves your iPhone.

TRUE END-TO-END ENCRYPTION Every conversation uses Double Ratchet + X3DH (the same cryptographic design as Signal), with manual verification via QR code or an 8-word security phrase. If your contact's key changes, we notify you before you continue the conversation.

ZERO METADATA ON THE SERVER The relay forwards encrypted messages it cannot read and does not store who you talk to, when, or how often. Sealed-sender by default: not even the relay itself knows who is sending each message.

SELF-DESTRUCTING MESSAGES Chat-specific timers, "view-once" messages, and scheduled messages.

ENCRYPTED VOICE AND VIDEO CALLS 1:1 and group calls over WebRTC with DTLS-SRTP, featuring live fingerprint verification during the call and native CallKit integration for VoIP calls that are as seamless as standard calls.

PRIVATE GROUPS Groups with roles (admin/mod/member) and anonymous voting for group decisions.

PANIC MODE A configurable gesture instantly deletes your chats or opens a decoy account using a duress PIN—so others see nothing.

MULTIPLE IDENTITIES Isolated profiles (e.g., personal and work) on the same device, each with its own keys.

YOUR KEYS, YOUR DEVICE Each linked device has its own key; revoking one instantly renders its new messages unreadable. Optional encrypted backup where only you hold the key.

OPEN SOURCE AND AUDITABLE All cryptography is open source and verifiable by third parties.

KNOWN LIMITATIONS (read these before trusting it with sensitive data) — The cryptography has NOT yet undergone a full, independent external audit (one is planned; track the current status in the repository). — The cryptography runs on JavaScript/Hermes, not in a dedicated native enclave; performance on very low-end devices may be limited. — Service operated by a single maintainer in one region; occasional relay interruptions may occur (messages are not lost: they are retried upon reconnection).

AegisLink does not ask for your contact details, does not sell data, and cannot read your messages.
