Kimá turns the sky into a threshold. The same Sun, Moon, and stars that ordered Jewish time across generations are still above you. Kimá places today's real sky beside 3,000 years of memory—and makes the changing hours of the Jewish day visible where you are.

Shaot zmaniyot do not always last 60 minutes. Each daytime hour is one twelfth of the daylight span; each nighttime hour, one twelfth of the night. They change with the season and the place. Kimá lets you see them unfold, understand the current hour's duration, and know how long remains before the next one.
