Raise your camera on a city street and Lore ranks nearby buildings, monuments, bridges, and public places by direction and distance. Open a place card for the name, year, architect, and one fact worth telling. Go deeper for a historical story, timeline, gallery, and any available source links.

COVERAGE YOU CAN TRUST Lore is curated city by city. It does not pretend to recognize every building or object. Source and attribution links appear when available, and historical details may still be incomplete or wrong. Coverage and scanner placement can also be approximate, so always pay attention to your surroundings.

FREE TO EXPLORE Scanning, maps, place cards, visits, journal features, badges, and three deep dives per day are free. Browsing does not require an account.

LORE+ Lore+ unlocks unlimited deep dives, curated walking tours, and full-story narration. Monthly and annual subscriptions, an optional lifetime purchase, and any introductory offer appear only when available in the App Store purchase sheet. Prices and eligibility are confirmed by Apple before payment.

YOUR CAMERA AND LOCATION Normal live scanning uses the camera, precise location while in use, heading, motion, and Apple frameworks on your device. Lore does not store a continuous camera feed or continuous location history. If you are signed in and explicitly choose Identify with Google, Lore asks before sending one current frame to Google Cloud Vision for that request. Lore does not use facial recognition, show third-party ads, track you across apps, or sell personal information.
