BirdCare: Parrot & Duck

BirdCare is a record-based care management app for parrot and companion duck owners.

Manage profiles, weight, daily condition, diet, veterinary visits, medication, egg-laying, photos, and documents in one place. Owners caring for multiple birds can keep individual records separate while managing birds that share the same enclosure.

Key Features

• Parrot and Companion Duck Profiles Record each bird’s name, species, subspecies, sex, birthday, adoption date, photo, status, and notes. Information is adjusted for the registered animal type.

• Weight Records and Graphs Record weight by date and review changes on a graph. Species-average ranges, growth stage, and recent records help identify weight gain, loss, and range status.

• Body Condition Guidance Because individual birds may naturally be smaller or larger than average, BirdCare provides body condition score guidance based on checking the keel bone.

• Condition and Dropping Records Track appetite, activity, droppings, breathing, feathers, legs, wings, and other daily observations. Dropping records can include photos for comparison.

• Quick Entry for Multiple Birds Record weight, condition, and grooming information for several birds in sequence. Birds already recorded that day can be skipped automatically.

• Detailed Health Summary BirdCare reviews species, age, growth stage, weight changes, and condition records together to organize important observations. Growing juveniles are assessed differently from adults.

• Diet and Feeding Management Track pellets, seeds, fresh foods, and treats. Review diet ratios, share records between birds in the same enclosure, and schedule meal replacement reminders.

• Food Safety Search Search foods that parrots and ducks may eat, foods suitable only in small amounts, and foods that should be avoided.

• Veterinary Records Record the clinic, reason for visiting, diagnosis, tests, treatment, cost, and next appointment. A regional avian clinic directory is available in Korean.

• Medication Management Record medication names, dates, optional dosage, schedules, and reminder times.

• Egg-Laying and Breeding Pair Management Track laying dates and egg status, including hatched, infertile, and discontinued eggs. Keep breeding parents and offspring organized together.

• Photos and Growth History Save dated photo records, add multiple photos at once, and crop or zoom images for profile use.

• Document Storage Store sex determination reports, disease test results, and other documents with a name, date, photo, or file.

• Enclosure Management Group birds that live together, record cleaning dates, mark an enclosure as cleaned with one tap, and schedule cleaning reminders.

• Grooming Management Track bathing, nail care, and beak care. Schedule reminders and open related care guidance directly.

• Care and Behavior Guides Browse information about behavior, emergency signs, adoption preparation, juvenile care, diet, environment, hormonal behavior, breeding, bathing, toys, biting, and training.

• Change History Review when important profile and care information was updated.

• Record Transfer Sign in with Google or Apple and use a transfer code to send profile records to another owner. Photos are excluded from transfers to help protect privacy.

• Korean and English Support Use BirdCare in Korean or English based on your device language. Some regional clinic and care information is designed specifically for users in Korea.

BirdCare is more than a note-taking app. It brings everyday records together so owners can notice small changes sooner and manage their birds’ health and care more consistently.
