Luxleaf: Plant Light Meter

Luxleaf measures the light a spot actually gets, identifies your plants from a photo, and builds a care schedule around the light each one receives.

Most plant apps guess at light from a room description, or measure it in one place and give advice in another. Luxleaf reads the light where the plant sits and lets that drive watering, fertilizing, and where to move a plant that isn't getting enough.

The light meter uses the front camera. Face that side toward the window or lamp, hold the phone at the plant's spot, and it reports the light level, from low light to direct sun, with lux and PPFD for the readings that need a number. It runs on your device. There is no fake sensor that returns the same reading everywhere.

Plant identification works from a photo you take, processed on your device. Once a plant is in your collection, Luxleaf tracks watering and fertilizing on a schedule that shifts with the season and with how much light the plant is measured to get.

Privacy: Luxleaf has no account and no sign-in. Your photos, light readings, and plant records stay on your device. The app contains no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking.

Subscription details Luxleaf Premium is offered as a monthly subscription (US$5.99) or a yearly subscription (US$34.99), each with a 7-day free trial, or as a one-time Lifetime purchase (US$59.99). Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when a subscription is purchased.
