TeloGate is the companion app for residents and property owners whose community, driveway, or property is protected by a Telogate-branded gate controller.

HANDS-FREE AUTO OPEN Turn on Auto Open once per entrance and TeloGate handles the rest. As you drive toward a gate, your phone senses the approach and opens it before you get there — no fumbling for a fob, no stopping to reach for your phone, no digging through apps. When the gate opens, TeloGate speaks a short confirmation so you know it's ready.

CARPLAY (NEW) Your gates now appear on your car's CarPlay display. The four closest gates are shown at the top and update as you drive; the rest are listed alphabetically below. Tap a gate to open it — a green check confirms the gate opened, and TeloGate speaks the confirmation hands-free. Everything the driver needs, one glance, one tap.

ONE-TAP MANUAL OPEN Prefer to open the gate yourself? Every entrance in your list has a large Open button. One tap, one instant unlock — even if you never enable location tracking at all.

FAVORITE ENTRANCES Mark your most-used gates as Favorites. Favorites stay pinned to the top of the Entrances list, sorted by proximity — the closest gate is always the top row. Other gates appear alphabetically below.

VISITOR AND GUEST MANAGEMENT Create, view, and update visitor codes right from the Guests tab — one-time codes, date-ranged guest passes, or permanent access for recurring visitors. Everything you can do on the TeloGate portal, now from your phone.

DRIVEN BY YOUR COMMUNITY, NOT BY YOU The list of gates you can access is published by your community administrator through the TeloGate portal — no manual setup, no per-gate configuration. When the administrator adds a new gate or takes one out of service, your app updates automatically.

DESIGNED FOR PRIVACY

• Your location is used only on your device. It is never sent to ZipDX or any third party.
• No ads. No analytics. No third-party tracking SDKs of any kind.
• Optional Performance Reporting (off by default) lets you send short GPS clips of gate approaches to support — your name and account are not attached; a random per-installation identifier is included so support can correlate multiple reports from the same device.
• Your sign-in credentials are stored encrypted in the iOS Keychain, protected by device passcode and — optionally — Face ID or Touch ID.

CAREFUL WITH POWER TeloGate uses a tiered location model to preserve battery life. While you're at home the app runs in a low-power mode; when you leave, it ramps up accuracy just enough to detect gate approaches; when you're far from any of your gates it goes dormant entirely until you return. You can turn location tracking off at any time.

DIAGNOSTICS FOR TROUBLESHOOTING If Auto Open doesn't behave the way you expect, an optional Diagnostics tab shows exactly what the app sees for each gate — live distance, speed, heading, and whether each firing condition is currently met — so you can figure out why a trigger fired (or didn't).

REQUIREMENTS

• iOS 26.5 or later.
• CarPlay: compatible vehicle or head unit.
• A TeloGate account. If you don't have one yet, ask your community administrator to invite you.
• For Auto Open only: "Always Allow" location permission. Manual Open works with location tracking off.
