IT CATCHES THE MISTAKES The stitch-count checker adds up what each round produces and compares it to the stated count. When the math says 29 and the pattern says 30, you get a plain-English hint ("likely a missing inc") before you work the round - and it only flags when it is sure.

IT SPEAKS BOTH DIALECTS US "sc" is UK "dc". Misread the convention and the whole piece is wrong. Hooklog detects whether a pattern is written in US or UK terms, and shows you why.

A NOTE ON PATTERNS Patterns are the work of the designers who wrote them. Hooklog is for importing your own patterns, for your own use. There is no pattern sharing, no public library, and no way to send parsed pattern text to anyone. Share cards and cost sheets reference a pattern's title only.

A NOTE ON YOUR DATA Hooklog stores everything on this iPhone, included in your iOS Backups when those are on. If you delete Hooklog without a backup, your data is removed with it.
