Neighborhood for Good

Neighborhood for Good is an app that supports a growing community of neighbors concerned about other neighbors who might be vulnerable for being left alone during a disaster or emergency.

A service of We The People Community Health Worker Corps Coalition, a volunteer community of practice of community health workers and other neighbors sharing their life experience and expertise to help other neighbors.

We match interested volunteers with others in the community who are: 65 years of age or older and live alone. 65 years of age or older and live with another person who is age 65 or older. Medically dependent on a device that requires power from a wall outlet. Would require physical assistance from another person in order to be able to leave your home during a disaster or emergency.

Volunteers, Neighborhood for Good Ambassadors: Receive peer educator training. Receive mental health first aid training. Be matched with a virtual neighbor. Make a wellness check care call once per month to your matched neighbor.
