Features & Capabilities

No swing meter. No timing bar. Just decisions. Pick your caddie, read the course, and decide how far you're willing to bend the rules.

Shape your round through the choices you make. Read the wind, the lie, the opponent, and the pressure, and decide what to do. Your decisions, not your swing, determine your fate. The game knows whether you made the right call, even if you don't.

Foot Wedge is a narrative golf game for people who know golf and aren't too proud to admit how they play it. No swing meter. No timing bar. Only the course, the situation, and the club in your hand.

PICK YOUR CADDIE Before you tee off, you choose your caddie, and your caddie shapes everything. Six of them, each a completely different game:

• Oz, who speaks in Zen nonsense that somehow lands. • Murph, who has a war story for every situation and gets there eventually. • Digger, zero filter, maximum confidence, wrong about the club and right about you. • August, who sees what nobody else sees and unlocks an ending the others can't reach. • Vivian, the sharpest person on the course, who notices everything. • Lucky, found outside the entrance, with a flask and one piece of real wisdom.

Your caddie changes your starting strengths, your between-round options, your comedy, and which endings are open to you. Pick a different one and you're playing a different game.

FOUR CHOICES, EVERY SHOT Every critical moment gives you four plays: the correct one, two that quietly cost you position, and the hero shot, only there if you built the right game across the tournament. Golf knowledge is rewarded. Wrong answers feel right until they don't.

WHERE YOU STAND WITH THE PERSON CARRYING THE BAG Take the read they gave you and it builds. Wave it off, or hang them out on a hero call, and it does not. It decides how honestly they read the next one: a caddie who trusts you gives you the real odds, a burned one hedges. On the last green they say the last thing anybody says to you, and you will not hear the same goodbye twice.

GERALD'S NOTEBOOK Improve a lie, move a ball, tee it a step forward, and it becomes a line in a rules official's notebook, whether or not anybody saw. Unseen entries are not safe, only unread, and every round gives them a chance to come out. Between rounds you can call one on yourself: it costs the stroke you saved and buys back what the card never measured. At the end the notebook is read back to you, and an empty one has its own line.

SUNDAY The last three holes of the final round announce themselves. The broadcast picks you up, the board says where you actually stand, and if the hero shot is on the table your caddie states the odds out loud, as honestly as things are between you.

FIVE METERS THAT PLAY LIKE THE SPORT Composure, Form, Lie, Read, and Gallery move with your decisions and interact the way the game really does. Build the wrong ones and the shot that would have won it isn't there when you need it.

A FULL TOURNAMENT, TEN ENDINGS Four rounds as a Monday qualifier with no business being in the field, and every hole is a decision. Between rounds you manage the bag, talk to your caddie, and deal with whatever proposition just walked up in the parking lot. Ten endings, and the finish names the one you nearly had. Some require you to play it straight. Some don't.

THE MAN YOU ARE PLAYING AGAINST Carter Blaine and Reginald Ashworth are not scoreboards, and they are not in the same place. Reginald is in your pairing from the first tee and stays there. Carter arrives as boards and roars for three rounds, then spends Sunday one group back and coming. What either man does about your birdie depends on where he is standing when it drops. The night before the final round, he comes looking for you.

THE CAMPAIGNS • The Monday Qualifier (free): modern era, coastal low-country golf, one shot to change your life. • The Calcutta (in-app purchase): 1928, hickory shafts, no yardage books, a betting pool in the clubhouse, and a rules official who has been waiting twenty years to catch someone.

Beer-league swagger. Range-rat soul. Play it as it lies. Or don't.
