Log in 3 taps, see what's left
"How much can I still spend on food this month?" — answered instantly. Jot down spending like using a calculator, and let the app do the rest. Give it one week.
Food spending, kept refreshingly simple.
Foodget is a budgeting app built to log your daily food costs in seconds and show you exactly how much you have left to spend this month.
■ Made for you if
・Budgeting apps never stick for more than a few days
・You just want to keep an eye on food spending
・You reach the end of the month wondering "Wait, did I overspend?"
・Feature-packed finance apps feel like too much
■ Log it in 3 taps, like a calculator
Type it straight from the receipt — "480+1200" works, and the app adds it up. Pick a category, save, done. Each entry takes about 10 seconds.
Tap the "+" next to a category on the Home screen and it starts with that category already selected — one step less.
■ See what's left, instantly
Set a budget per category, and their total becomes your food budget for the month. The Home screen shows your remaining balance and a "per-day guide" in big, clear numbers.
Overspend and the card changes color to let you know. It even adds a little note for the moment — "Plenty left — enjoy!" or "Over budget — hang in there!" (you can turn these off).
■ Easy to look back on
・History: browse entries by day, month by month. Tap to edit, swipe to delete
・Statistics: monthly trends, category breakdown, and your spending against an "on-budget pace" line
・Spot overspending trends at a glance
■ Built to keep you going
・A daily reminder to log your spending at a time you choose
・Numbers that animate and buttons that feel good to press — a design you'll want to open every day
■ Your data stays on your device
Your records are stored only on your device. Nothing is sent to a server, no account is required, and not even the developer can see your entries.
■ More features
・Add and edit categories freely (choose an icon and color)
・12 currencies supported (USD, EUR, JPY, and more)
・Available in 7 languages
・Ads appear only on the History and Statistics screens, kept minimal — and a one-time purchase removes them
Start with today's spending. Once "log it, check what's left" becomes a habit, your food budget falls into place on its own.
■ How this app came to be
"I just want a budgeting app that logs food spending in a snap" — that one wish from my wife is how Foodget began. Every app we tried was either too complex or too fiddly to enter anything. So we decided to build our own. As the everyday user, she'd point out "this part's a little annoying" or "it'd be nice to have this little touch," and we polished it one screen at a time. Our goal is something the two of us genuinely want to open every single day.
