MedEd PFT Pattern Analysis
Master PFT patterns with ERS 2022+ & pre-2022 guidelines. Generate professional PDF reports. Premium Educational PFT Notes—for residents, fellows & pulmonologists.
PFT & SPIROMETRY TOOL — EDUCATIONAL PATTERN REFERENCE FOR TRAINED CLINICIANS
Built for pulmonary medicine residents, fellows, pulmonologists, and advanced medical learners who want a structured, guideline-aligned way to practice PFT pattern recognition—not a substitute for independent clinical judgment.
Apply ERS/ATS interpretive strategies in one app:
• ERS 2022+ interpretation (Z-score–forward, current ATS/ERS standard)
• ERS pre-2022 interpretation (2005-era strategy for comparison and teaching)
WHAT YOU CAN DO
▸ Discern physiologic patterns
Enter spirometry, lung volumes, diffusion, and bronchodilator data. The app suggests obstructive, restrictive, mixed, and atypical patterns with severity grading—using transparent, guideline-based logic.
▸ Professional PDF outputs
Generate clean, shareable PDF reports with findings, pattern summary, educational disclaimers, and a physician sign-off field—ideal for teaching conferences, case logs, and personal study records. Email directly from your device when Mail is configured.
▸ Dual-guideline learning
Compare how the same data may be framed under current vs. prior ERS/ATS strategies—valuable for boards review, fellowship teaching, and understanding evolving standards.
▸ Educational differential reference (Premium)
The Notes tab maps classic PFT patterns to commonly associated differential diagnoses (obstruction, restriction, mixed disorders, ILD, and more)—for manual study only. Pattern outputs do not auto-generate disease names; differentials are separated for educational clarity.
▸ Report library (Premium)
Save, search, and re-export prior interpretations. De-identified labels only—do not enter patient identifiers.
