Prepare properly for the DTZ (Deutsch-Test für Zuwanderer). The DTZ is the language exam at the end of the German integration course, and its overall result shows whether you have reached level A2 or B1.

HOW THE DTZ WORKS The DTZ has a written part of 100 minutes (listening, reading and a short letter) and an oral part of about 15 minutes. To reach B1 overall you need B1 in the speaking part and in at least one of the written results: either listening and reading, which are scored together, or writing.

EVERYDAY TOPICS The tasks and flashcards cover the themes of the integration course: work and career, housing and daily life, offices and authorities, health and social life, shopping, money and contracts, and family, education and free time.
