Bookseer is a weekly reading ritual. You answer a questionnaire in which no question is about books: they ask what keeps you awake, what you are avoiding, what season of life you are in. The Oracle ponders without hurry and returns three books, each with a personal reason: why this one, why you, why now.

Why not a list Bestseller charts recommend what sells. Store shelves recommend what earns. Engines that know your reading history keep you inside your past taste, and the book that would change your life is usually outside it. Somewhere there is a book written for you, famous or forgotten; no list knows you, and friends can only hand you what they have met themselves. The Oracle exists to catch it before it passes by.

The ritual

1. You answer hard questions. Answering is already a look inward; the more you give the questions, the more exactly the reading will find you.
2. The Oracle ponders. It searches, without hurry, for the words that are exactly yours; the waiting is part of the ritual.
3. Your reading arrives: three books, each with its reason. One reading a week: enough time to actually read one.

Honest by design Every recommended book is real and verified to exist before it reaches you. The readings draw on all of world literature: novels, philosophy, memoir, poetry, science. No publisher or bookseller pays for a place in a reading.

Quiet by design No accounts, no feeds, no ads. Your answers travel without your name; we could not identify you if we tried. The Oracle speaks your language, and the language of your readings is yours to choose, independent of your phone's.
