Rawdat al-Quran is a platform for learning, and teaching, the Qur'an as it has always been learned — from a teacher, by voice, with the mushaf open between you.

For students: recite one-to-one with a certified teacher, live. For teachers: meet your students and keep a record of their recitation that travels with them — visible to the student, and to the teachers who come after you.

Rawdat al-Quran means the garden of the Qur'an. The Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) described the gatherings of remembrance as gardens of Paradise, and that is our hope for every session, insha'Allah.

FOR STUDENTS • See which teachers are available now and request a session • Plan a time to meet with your teacher, once they have given you access • Recite one-to-one with a certified teacher over live audio • Follow the same page your teacher is on — either of you can mark verses and leave comments • Follow a learning plan that helps you carry what you memorize into your daily life • Choose a teacher by language and qira'ah • Review your session notes, your teacher's comments, and your own marking — marks stay available offline

FOR TEACHERS • Open your door to whoever is searching for hufadh — you choose which requests to accept • Go online and be accessible for session requests • Set when you are available for your designated students, so times are settled in advance across time zones • Mark and comment on the student's page while you listen, for them to review afterwards • Keep a record that continues across teachers — leave session notes for the student, for yourself, and for whoever teaches them next

Our aim is to keep alive the verbal transmission of the Qur'an — teacher to student, voice to voice — and to make it reachable from anywhere.

Rawdah is free: no fees, no ads, no in-app purchases. Our teachers are volunteers who give their time in service of the Word of Allah.
