BGMUP is a time-aware Japanese vocal workspace for people who build on screens.

When you are coding, prompting, designing, researching, or finishing one more task after dark, BGMUP turns the workday into a listening ritual instead of another search box.

Switch between DAYTIME and NIGHTTIME listening experiences, each with 37 playlists. The complete 74-playlist library and 1,044 unique tracks are included in the app, so listening can begin immediately without an account or content download.

Swipe horizontally to change playlists, or use the full Library to choose a playlist or track directly. Save favorites and return to recent listens without creating an account.

Tap Focus to enter a distraction-free, full-screen clock with no app controls, explanatory labels, mode name, or page indicator. Swipe horizontally to move immediately between 10 distinct clock faces; BGMUP remembers the last face you chose.

Swipe down from the clock for the full Focus workspace. Choose 25, 45, 60, or 90 minutes, or fine-tune the duration in 5-minute steps from 5 to 180 minutes. Music stops automatically when the session completes. Swipe up to move from the full workspace back to the clock, then from the clock back to the player.

Playback can continue in the background or while the screen is locked. Controls stay focused on the essentials: track choice, play or pause, stop, favorite, timer, and volume.
