ReceiTracker is a privacy-first budgeting app: just photograph your receipts and it keeps track of your spending. There's no bank or credit card syncing of any kind — everything stays on your own device.

■ No receipt? No problem

The main reason budgeting apps don't stick is simple: you forget to ask for a receipt, you lose it, or you never get around to typing it in. ReceiTracker gives you four ways in. ・Snap a photo — AI reads the store, items, amount, and date straight off the receipt ・Speak — say "about $10 for lunch at a restaurant, $6.80 for a convenience store dinner" and it becomes two receipts ・Write it out — jot down what you remember in plain sentences and it's turned into receipts for you ・Type it manually — pick the store, amount, and category yourself Not sure of the exact amount? "About $10" works fine — it's marked as approximate and you can fix it later. Don't remember the store? Leave it as "unknown store."

■ Only the days you show up count Log once a day and that day is done, no matter how many receipts or how much you spent.

Logged days earn points and level you up — the earlier in the day you log, the more you earn. Miss a day and you can fill it in later. Points never go down, so a skipped day never sends you back to zero. No shopping today? Tap "no shopping today" and it still counts.

■ A quiet nudge before bed Near the end of the day, a gentle reminder lets you know if you haven't logged anything yet — easy to switch on or off, so it's only there if you want it. Tap it and you're straight into the logging screen. No exact numbers needed; "about $10" is enough to close out the day.

■ Just photograph it, the rest is automatic Point the camera at a receipt and AI reads the store, items, amount, and date, then sorts it into a category — groceries, dining out, household goods, and more.

■ Keep the original too Every scanned receipt photo is saved on your device and viewable anytime from your history. Photos are never sent to iCloud. Set them to be tidied up automatically after 3 months or a year.

■ Clear totals and charts See spending totaled by day, week, month, or year, with a pie chart breakdown by category. Tap a category for details. The calendar view shows which days you spent on and how much, by color.

■ No API key needed While subscribed, receipt scanning just works, with nothing to set up — up to 12 scans a day. Want more? Register your own free Gemini API key and the limit disappears. Prefer to keep everything offline? On-device OCR is also an option.

■ History and CSV export Browse and edit past receipts, and export everything as CSV. A business-expense flag makes it easy to separate what you'll need to expense.

■ Three languages Available in Japanese, English, and Chinese. Japanese receipts can show English or Chinese item names — handy for foreign residents in Japan or for tracking spending while traveling.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at purchase confirmation. *Receipt scanning can run through our server (while subscribed, up to 12/day), your own Gemini API key, or on-device OCR. With Gemini, images are sent to Google. With on-device OCR, images never leave your phone.
