The 99 Names of Allah to read and reflect on, prayer beads that count by your voice, the remembrances of morning and evening. Put the phone down and invoke: it counts on its own, without a gesture.

THE 99 NAMES Every Name with its Arabic script, its transliteration, its meaning and the verse where it appears. Tap the reference and the whole verse opens, translated into your language. When several Names stand in the same verse, they are shown together — an observation, not an interpretation. Names that do not appear in noun form in the muṣḥaf show no reference at all: silence rather than a link we made up.

BEADS THAT COUNT BY VOICE The app hears you and counts on its own, hands free, with a string of beads sliding across the screen. The count from the Sunnah is free in full: 33 subḥānAllāh, 33 alḥamdulillāh, 34 Allāhu akbar (Muslim 597). When in doubt it adds nothing: a wrong count is worth less than no count.

YOUR OWN LIBRARY Tick the formulas you want, set the number for each, start the session. Three formulas are recognised out of the box. Beyond the tasbīḥ from the Sunnah, composing your own session, saving it as a routine and teaching the app a new formula are Premium.

THE REMEMBRANCES OF THE DAY Thirty al-Mathūrāt invocations by moment: morning, evening, bedtime, waking, after the prayer, daily life, hardship. Each with its pronunciation, its translation, its merit, its grade of authenticity and its source (Ḥiṣn al-Muslim). What is weak stays out. Here you read and count with your finger; the voice is kept for the beads. The morning, evening and bedtime sequences run from one screen.

RECITE, AND BE CORRECTED Recite a Name: the app listens word by word and shows you where the tongue stumbled. Seven Names scored per day without a subscription; beyond that it says "heard, not scored" instead of inventing a mark. The reciting itself is never blocked.

HANDS FREE The meaning is read out loud, you answer out loud. Nothing to read, nothing to tap — for the moments when your eyes are elsewhere.

THE TOTEM All 99 at a glance. A tile only lights up once a pronunciation has been accepted, and once lit it never goes out: nothing here is lost, missing a day takes nothing away from you.

ON THE WRIST, AND ON IPAD Apple Watch counts your dhikr with haptic feedback, without the phone. If the iPhone is nearby with Nûr open on it, it lends its microphone. On iPad, two columns: the list of Names, and the Name you are contemplating.

YOUR VOICE No recording is kept: all that remains of your recitation is an imprint of numbers, the one used to count. Nothing is sent, nothing is stored elsewhere. No account, no ads, no tracker, no data collected. The app installs light; the engine that listens to your recitation (about 600 MB) downloads from the App Store at your first voice session.

FREE, AND PREMIUM IF YOU GO FURTHER All 99 Names in full — reading, listening, verses, reflection — the totem and the tasbīḥ from the Sunnah are free. Premium opens unlimited scored recitations, composed dhikr programmes, teaching the app a formula in your own voice, and spaced review.

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO It shows the text and its source, and counts your repetitions. It does not replace a teacher and it certifies nothing. When the meaning of a Name comes from machine translation, it says so on screen instead of passing it off as settled. Counting the Names is not the same as understanding them: the meaning and the source come with each one. The intention is yours.
