Jia uses AI that works inside your journal page, not another chatbot to keep up with. Here is what it actually does:

• While you write, it can leave a short note beside your words — a question worth sitting with, or a gentler way to read what you just said • Ask it for a second perspective on your entry, any time, right on the page • When you finish an entry, it can point out what seemed to matter most • Over time, it notices themes that keep coming back across your entries

It never rewrites your words and never takes over the page. Use it every day or not at all — the journal works fully without it.

Your entries are stored in your own iCloud, not on our servers. Voice journaling is transcribed entirely on your device. You can journal offline. The AI reads your words only when you use an AI feature, to generate that one response; your entries are never stored on our servers.
