Third Degree: Daily Detective

A murder. Three suspects. Twelve questions. One of them is lying to your face, and nobody is going to tell you which.

Third Degree is a detective game you play with your own words. There are no dialogue trees and no multiple choice. You type what you want to ask, and the suspect answers - evasively, defensively, in character. Ask the right question and they contradict themselves. Ask the wrong one and you have burned a question you needed.

THE DAILY CASE

Every day brings a fresh murder with a fresh cast. Read the file, work out who to lean on, and start asking.

• Question three suspects in plain English • Present evidence to their face and watch the story change • Press, challenge, or show a little sympathy - each gets you somewhere different • Catch a contradiction and it goes on the record permanently

Then make the arrest. You will need a proof chain, not a hunch: WHO did it, WHY they did it, and the exhibit that proves it. Get the person right but the story wrong and the conviction will not hold.

You are graded one to three stars, with a full report afterwards: the true timeline, every lie you caught, every lie you missed, and exactly where your points came from.

COFFEE CASES

Two self-contained mysteries with no daily timer and no streak on the line. They run entirely on your device, so they work on a plane, on the subway, or anywhere with no signal at all.
