Check in the way that suits you Scan the QR code at the door, type the short code printed under it, or point your camera at a code in a photo. You get a clear answer straight away and your attendance is recorded.

Every class on one schedule See your week in Month, List, Day or Week view. Studio classes, private lessons and event sessions all sit on the same timeline, in your own timezone.

Join a studio in seconds Use an invite code, scan a studio QR, or find a school in Discover and ask to join. You can even check in at a studio you have not joined yet, and they confirm you afterwards.

Learn the moves, not just the steps Browse your group's dance move library on video. Open a move and its steps are laid out beside the video on a timeline that follows along as it plays, for leader and follower both. Star the ones you want to come back to.

See what you have passed Studios can group their classes into modules. Your attendance carries you towards passing each one automatically, and what you pass shows on your profile.

Find your next event Browse festivals, workshops and socials by date on a calendar, or narrow by where they are and which dances they are for.

Make it yours DanceIT follows your phone into dark mode, or choose Light or Dark yourself, and pick the accent colour the app wears. Decide how much video is kept on your phone and whether videos play by themselves on mobile data.

FOR STUDIOS AND INSTRUCTORS

Run your school from your phone Build a timetable by tapping the slot you want and choosing the class. Manage rooms, dance groups, classes and your instructor roster in one place.

Take an accurate register Leave a tablet at the door showing a check-in code that changes on its own, locked to that screen behind your PIN. People who check in without being members wait in a queue for you to confirm, so a busy class still leaves you an accurate list.

Memberships and prices Set what you charge by month, by week or by class, add a discount for dancers taking more than one group, and give each instructor their own private lesson rate. Members can tell you what they are paying for and it waits for you to confirm. Payment itself is arranged and taken at your studio.

Events from announcement to door Publish an event as soon as you have dates, dance styles and a cover photo. Rooms and the timetable can follow once you know them.

Rules, news and reach Post your studio rules and ask members to accept them. Publish news with a photo or video, and it reaches people on your studio page and on their Home screen.

Decide who can do what Every part of your studio carries its own permission setting, chosen per role and overridable for one person when you need it.
