Spazio LOC: Laboratorio Orlando Contemporaneo is a cultural space dedicated to research, experimentation, and the promotion of contemporary art in the Nebrodi territory. Housed in the historic building of the Pinacoteca Comunale of Capo d’Orlando, named after the Venetian artist Tono Zancanaro, Spazio LOC preserves the municipality’s official permanent collection and serves as an open space for dialogue, creativity, and cultural innovation.

Promoted by the municipalities of Capo d’Orlando, Ficarra, and Santo Stefano di Camastra, the museum was created as a meeting point for artists, curators, scholars, and citizens, fostering dialogue between cultural heritage and contemporary artistic languages.

By downloading the dedicated app, visitors can enrich their museum experience through multimedia content and in-depth insights related to the artworks in the collection. The itinerary allows users to explore the painting collections through a chronological path, with works organized by year of production, making it possible to observe the evolution of artistic research, themes, and experimentation that have shaped the contemporary art scene over time.
