Pinpoint Location Reminders
Drop a pin on the map to set the exact spot your reminder should watch for.
The store entrance address search never quite finds, the building your office is in, the back gate of the park.
Pin Reminder does one thing: location reminders. What you create here goes into the built-in Reminders app, and iOS delivers the alert. There's no new to-do app to learn.
• Aim with the pin at the center
Move the map until the center pin sits where you want it. Search to get close, then cover the last few meters by hand.
• Watch the radius as a circle
Drag the slider from 100 m to 1 km and the range is drawn on the map as a circle. Presets for 100 m, 500 m, and 1 km — and the values you used recently — are one tap away.
• When you arrive, or when you leave
Choose "when I arrive here" or "when I leave here". After you save, one button adds the opposite reminder, so a single place can cover the way in and the way out.
• Five favorites, one tap to save
Keep the places you go often as favorites. Save the radius, the arrive or leave trigger, and the reminder title along with them, and from then on a single tap is the whole flow.
• Home screen widgets for a shorter path
Keep your favorites out on the home screen. If a favorite has a title saved with it, tapping the widget finishes the reminder right there; if not, you start with that spot already pinned.
The small widget holds one place over a map of it, the medium holds four, and the large holds five. Touch and hold a widget to pick which favorites go on it, and a favorite with an emoji shows that emoji in the widget too.
• Every option from Reminders
Title and notes, plus the list to save into, priority, a time alert, and repeats (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly). Once saved, you can open it in Reminders right away.
• Easy on the battery
iOS handles the location trigger. This app doesn't follow your location in the background — it checks your location only while you're using it.
Good moments for it
• Passing the grocery store on the way home — buy milk
• Leaving the office — take the laptop charger
• Arriving at a client's office — bring out the signed contract
• Getting home — pick up the package
Support
• iPhone · iPad (iOS · iPadOS 18.0 or later)
• 한국어 · English · 日本語
• VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, and Reduce Motion supported
• A banner ad appears at the bottom of the screen
Access to Reminders is required. Location access is optional — without it you can still drop a pin by searching or moving the map.
Drop one pin. Instead of trying to remember, let the place bring it back to you
