Voltline is a neon block puzzle built on the satisfying loop you already love — drag pieces onto an 8×8 grid, fill a full row or column to clear it — with one electric twist no other block puzzle has: the Surge.

THE SURGE — the spark that changes everything Clear an ordinary mixed-color line and it simply vanishes. But clear a line where all eight blocks are the SAME color, and it doesn't just clear — it discharges. Chain-lightning floods outward, detonating every same-color block connected to it, neighbor after neighbor, rippling across the entire board. One perfectly placed line can blow up a third of the grid for a single huge combo. Clear the whole board at once and trigger a BLACKOUT.

HOW TO PLAY

• Drag three pieces from the tray onto the grid — no rotation, no rush.
• Complete any full row or column to clear it.
• Stuck with an awkward shape? Bank it in the Hold slot for later.
• Herd one color into a big connected cluster, then set it off with a single-color line to chain-detonate it all.
• No timer. No ticking clock. Play one quick move or lose an hour — it's up to you.

EASY TO LEARN, DEEP TO MASTER Anyone gets it in five seconds: fit the pieces, clear the lines. But masters play a second game on top — routing colors into one connected blob, then firing a monochrome line to chain it across the board. A fat single-color cluster scores enormous… but it also eats space and can trap you. Every placement is a tug-of-war between surviving and setting up the perfect surge.
