EFKey is a fast, private iOS keyboard with the gestures, layouts and key behaviour power-typists love. Type in 26 languages, all on-device, nothing ever leaves your phone.

FLY THROUGH TYPING WITH GESTURES

Hold any key for its symbol — @ # % € and more live in the corner of every key. Just press and hold, no switching to the numbers page. Swipe to delete — flick left on the delete key to erase whole words at a time. Trackpad cursor — hold the spacebar and slide to move the cursor exactly where you mean it. Swipe to type (glide typing) with automatic diacritics. Double-space for a period, and more.

26 LANGUAGES, YOUR WAY

Type in 26 languages, and enable several at once — prediction and autocorrect work across all of them at the same time, no switching. The app itself is translated into 24 languages, so it speaks your language too. Choose your layout: QWERTY, QWERTZ, AZERTY, Dvorak or Colemak. A proper number row that adds a row instead of shrinking your keys.

SMART, ON-DEVICE CORRECTION

Autocorrect that uses full dictionaries, so it fixes real typos without mangling words that were already right — even words with several mistakes. Next-word prediction that learns how you write and adapts over a few days. Fix a word once and one backspace tells it to never touch that word again.

MADE TO FEEL RIGHT

A clean, fully native look — light and dark, matched to iOS down to the last pixel, and it follows the appearance of the app you are in. Or switch to the new "Glacier" theme. True multi-touch — no dropped keys, no lag, even at full speed. Emoji built in — searchable, with skin-tone picker and suggestions as you type.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

No keystroke logging. No analytics. No tracking. No third-party SDKs. Nothing you type ever leaves your device — it all works fully offline. "Allow Full Access" is optional, used only for haptics and to sync your settings. Never to send data anywhere. Back up and move your learned and blocked words yourself — export and import them anytime.
