HOW IT WORKS

Day 0. Your first scan names the three signals working best for you today, then records a starting point. That number is not a verdict. It is the line everything else gets measured from.

Day 1. The camera shows a faint ghost of yesterday's scan so you can match the angle. Both photos are read together, so the app reports what changed instead of scoring you from scratch.

Every day. Five taps to log what applied: slept, hydrated, moved, drank, stressed. Three seconds. This is the other half of the data.

Day 10. Your first report arrives. It names your strongest lever, cites the actual averages behind it, and tells you honestly which habit did less than you expected.

WHAT IT MEASURES

Six modifiable signals: skin clarity, eye area, hydration, radiance, grooming, posture.

It does not measure bone structure, symmetry, or anything else you cannot change. It does not compare you to other people. There is no leaderboard and there never will be.

YOUR PHOTOS STAY ON YOUR PHONE

This is the part most apps in this category get wrong. Your scan is sent for a single reading and discarded in the same request. Nothing is stored on our servers. The only lasting copy lives in the app's private storage on your device.

Mirror Diary is a general wellness tool for self reflection. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The reports describe differences observed across a small number of days, not proven causes. Lighting, sleep timing, and mood all leave marks on a face, and the app says so on the report itself.

If tracking your appearance makes you feel worse rather than better, stop using it. That advice is in the app too.
