Recall & Reaction Time Tests
Seven quick brain tests: reaction time, number recall, letter and visual recall, sequence, Stroop colour test and Not Not. Find your numbers, then beat them.
Mind Gym is seven short brain tests in one app: measure your reaction time in milliseconds, find out how many digits you can hold in your head, and push your visual and sequence recall until the grid finally beats you. Inspired by the classic human benchmark tests — quick, scored and honest, not just another puzzle game.
REACTION TIME TEST
Wait for the green, then tap. Your reflexes, measured in milliseconds. Most people land between 250 and 350 ms — where do you sit? Five rounds, one average, and your personal best saved every time.
NUMBER RECALL TEST
A number flashes, then disappears. Type it back. Every correct answer adds a digit. The average person remembers 7 digits. How far can you push your short-term recall?
LETTER RECALL TEST
The same idea, in letters. They arrive one at a time and you repeat the whole sequence back — a fast, uncomfortable look at how your working memory actually behaves.
VISUAL RECALL TEST
Squares light up on a grid, then go dark. Tap the ones you saw. Each level adds a tile and takes away your margin for error.
SEQUENCE RECALL TEST
The grid flashes a sequence; you repeat it in order. One extra step every round, until you break the chain. Simple rules, brutal ceiling.
COLOR CONFUSION — STROOP TEST
The word says GREEN but the ink is red. Answer with the colour, not the word. The classic test of attention and mental control — and the one that makes people laugh out loud.
NOT NOT — SPEED AND FOCUS TEST
Read the command, ignore the trap, tap before the timer runs out. "Not left" means anything but left, and the clock keeps shrinking. An endless test of how fast you can override your first instinct.
GLOBAL LEADERBOARDS
Each game has its own top-10 leaderboard. Compare your score with players around the world.
YOUR NUMBERS, TRACKED
Every attempt is saved. See your best and how today compares with last week across all seven tests.

WHO IT'S FOR
Students training their working memory. Gamers and drivers checking their reflexes. Anyone curious how their brain benchmarks against the average.
FREQUENTLY ASKED
What is a good reaction time?
Most people score between 250 and 350 ms. Under 250 ms is fast; under 200 ms is exceptional. Mind Gym averages five rounds, a fairer number than one lucky tap.
How many digits can the average person remember?
About seven. The Number Recall Test adds a digit each round, so you find your own limit.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. All seven tests run offline. Only the leaderboards need a connection.
Is this a game or a real test?
Both. The tasks are modelled on the standard human benchmark tests, but paced and scored like a game.
Is it free?
Yes. All seven tests, every level and the leaderboards are free to play, with ads.
STORE (OPTIONAL)
Lose a round and you get one retry, either by watching a short ad or by spending a life. Lives are earned free by watching ads, and can also be bought — 25 or 60 at a time, added to your account and never expiring. No Ads removes every banner and full-screen ad permanently. All one-time purchases: nothing renews, nothing is charged again, and everything restores on any device signed in to the same Apple Account. Sign-in is required so purchases stay tied to your account.
