How does the RideWiseMoto app help riders?

RideWiseMoto is a pre-ride decision support app made for motorcyclists: it helps you make the best decisions before you set off. Is it worth setting off today or tomorrow? And if so, when is the most suitable moment? What should you wear, and what should you take along for a short ride or a longer tour? (30–300 km)

WHAT THE APP GIVES YOU

• A score from 0 to 100 for today and tomorrow — based on the local conditions, the selected range and your rider profile.
• The best ride window: when it is worth setting off in the remaining hours of the day, with hourly feels-like temperature, precipitation and wind.
• Gear recommendations for the whole ride window, tailored to the conditions of the day.
• A quick pre-ride check: a few questions about your current state that count towards the score — plus a separate technical checklist for the bike.
• Widget: today's score and the best ride window on your Home Screen and Lock Screen, checked at a glance.
• Night mode: switchable, for riding after sunset, only for very experienced, all-season riders.
• Nearby stops & help: fuel, EV charging, motorcycle and general service, tire service, toilets, restaurants, snack bars, cafés — one tap to navigate on the map.
• A continuously growing motorcycle technical know-how section and riding tips.
• Weekend outlook by e-mail, to any location, for Saturday and Sunday.
• Games for restful stops.

HOW IT WORKS

The app compares the conditions expected in your selected range (temperature, feels-like temperature, precipitation risk, wind and gusts, UV exposure) with your rider profile (experience, motorcycle type, wind protection) and your quick pre-ride check. From these come the score, the status indicator, the ride window suggestion and the gear recommendation. The result is always simplified support that must be interpreted together with the real conditions. (Conditions may differ even within a few hundred meters.)

THE MOMENT BEFORE SETTING OFF

RideWiseMoto is a pre-ride decision support app. A rider's most frequent decision moment is the couple of hours before setting off: get on the bike now, wait a few hours, or postpone the ride? The app was made for exactly this moment. It is worth opening it again on the road, at your stops — in fact we expressly recommend it: it shows how much the conditions have changed since you set off.

COMMUNITY AND WEEKEND OUTLOOK — OPTIONAL

Anyone who has ridden in the area and found the forecast broadly accurate can confirm this anonymously for other riders with one tap. (This records only an anonymous device identifier and a coordinate rounded to about 5 km.) The weekend e-mail outlook can be requested for any location, by entering a place name or coordinates, and can be canceled at any time.

AVAILABILITY

In 13 languages (Hungarian, English, German, Spanish, Italian, French, Polish, Romanian, Dutch, Croatian, Japanese, Swedish, Hindi), tuned to the local search rules of 45+ countries. Coverage of service and tire service data varies by region — we keep expanding and improving it. The app can be tried free for 14 days.

It does not guarantee safety, road surface condition, visibility, the traffic situation, the technical condition of the motorcycle or the rider's fitness. Speed, route, protective gear and every riding decision remain the rider's responsibility. The app must not be used as the sole basis for safety-critical decisions.
