WayRide is commute carpooling. Not an on-demand taxi. Drivers are already going somewhere: they pick a saved route (e.g. Home → Work), see riders heading the same way along it, and choose who to pick up, with the exact detour shown before they accept.

Riders set a pickup and destination (current location, a saved place, address search, or a tap on the map), request a ride, and see who is coming, their car and ETA. You can also schedule rides in advance.

WayRide also keeps the people you care about close: a live family map to see your children with named places, check-ins and an SOS, plus mutual-consent friend location sharing.
