CalixNote is a private notebook that keeps everything encrypted on your device. There is no account, no cloud and no tracking — your notes, photos and files never leave your iPhone unless you choose to export them.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Every note, image and file is encrypted before it is written to storage. • Encryption keys are generated on-device and stored in the iOS Keychain — they never leave the phone. • No accounts, no analytics, no third-party SDKs and no cloud — your content is yours alone.

LOCK IT DOWN • Protect the app with a 6-digit PIN (stored only as a salted hash) and unlock with Face ID or Touch ID. • Repeated wrong PIN entries trigger an escalating lockout.

THREE SPACES, ONE VAULT • Notes — folders, tags, colors, pinning, search, Markdown preview, templates and reminders. • Images — store photos encrypted, view panoramas, and hide a secret text message inside any picture (steganography). • Files — keep documents encrypted and preview 3D .glb models in a built-in viewer that runs offline.

WRITE FASTER • Dictation in 10 languages — prefers on-device recognition, so it stays private and works offline whenever your language supports it. • Scan text from photos with on-device OCR. • Read notes aloud with automatic language detection.

ENCRYPTED BACKUP • Export a password-protected .clx backup and restore it on another device. The backup is protected with PBKDF2 + AES-256-GCM and never contains your private key.

DESIGNED FOR YOU • 10 interface languages, automatic dark mode, and an iPad-ready layout.

A note on encryption: CalixNote protects your data at rest using Apple CryptoKit (ChaCha20-Poly1305 and AES-256-GCM) together with the iOS Keychain and Data Protection. Encryption protects data stored on the device and is not a substitute for your device passcode.
