Home Library Companion is the first home library app that lets you find the knowledge inside your own book collection, and the first that reliably loads a whole shelf at a time instead of one book at a time. When you do need to load one book, the same vision engine reads a copyright page, a cover, or a barcode. We set out to disrupt home library organization with the latest technology, and we have.

Then it remembers where everything lives. Every book gets a real address — building, room, bookcase, shelf — so “do we own this?” and “where did it go?” both take seconds.

YOUR FIRST 100 BOOKS ARE FREE Catalog 100 books per library before you pay anything. No time limit, nothing to cancel. Household sharing, syncing, and the web library are all part of the free tier. Signing in is required — your library is stored on our server, so it syncs to your other devices and can be shared. If your collection is bigger than 100 books, $39.99/year raises the cap to 1,000 books per library and turns on Ask. One subscription covers everyone in a shared library.

ASK YOUR OWN LIBRARY Ask in plain English — “which of my books cover rose care?” — and get answers drawn only from books you actually own. Ask requires the subscription.

SUBSCRIPTION Home Library Companion Annual, $39.99 per year. It raises the limit from 100 to 1,000 books per library and unlocks Ask. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, and it renews automatically at $39.99/year unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Cataloging up to 100 books stays free.
