Guardian Eye WebCamera turns an old iPhone into a standalone network IP camera. It runs an embedded ONVIF and RTSP server directly on the phone and streams over your local Wi-Fi — no cloud, no account, no subscription. Your video never leaves your network.

Part of the Guardian Eye camera system, it also speaks standard ONVIF and RTSP, so it drops straight into any ONVIF NVR or RTSP viewer already on your network.

STREAMING & PROTOCOLS • JPEG snapshot, MJPEG, and RTSP (H.264 and H.265/HEVC, with AAC audio) • Full ONVIF Profile S/T/M server with automatic discovery (WS-Discovery)

ON-DEVICE SMART DETECTION • Object and person detection powered by on-device Apple Vision (people + animals) • Motion, tamper, and sound detection — each with adjustable sensitivity • Detection zones: draw exactly where the camera should watch • Sound classification (glass breaking, shouting, alarms) on iOS 15+ • Event history kept on the device • All detection runs locally and is published as standard ONVIF analytics events, so your NVR can record, alert, and trigger on them

CAMERA & VIDEO CONTROLS • Front / back camera, torch, and pinch-to-zoom • Resolution up to 1080p, frame rate up to 30 fps, JPEG quality • Orientation and focus mode (auto / locked) • H.264 or H.265/HEVC encoding • Optional microphone audio • On-screen display (timestamp / label) burned into the stream

SECURITY & PRIVACY • Local network only — video never leaves your network • Username / password required (no admin/admin defaults) • RTSP Digest and ONVIF WS-Security authentication • Credentials stored encrypted on the device (iOS Keychain)

Works with Guardian Eye, VLC, web browsers, and any ONVIF NVR — including Blue Iris, Synology Surveillance Station, Frigate / Home Assistant, and ONVIF Device Manager.
