Guardian Eye WebCamera turns an old iPhone into a standalone network IP camera. It runs an embedded ONVIF and RTSP server directly on the phone and streams over your local Wi-Fi — no cloud, no account, no subscription. Your video never leaves your network.

Part of the Guardian Eye camera system, it also speaks standard ONVIF and RTSP, so it drops straight into any ONVIF NVR or RTSP viewer already on your network.

STREAMING & PROTOCOLS • JPEG snapshot, browser MJPEG, and RTSP with AAC audio • H.264 and H.265/HEVC, each on its own address • A JPEG sub-stream for recorders that want a light second view • Efficient preview: a second 640x360 stream from its own encoder, so a recorder can fill its grid without pulling the full-size stream (Pro) • ONVIF Profile S / T / M server with WS-Discovery, so recorders find the camera on the network • Digital zoom, image settings, events and object metadata over ONVIF

ON-DEVICE SMART DETECTION (Guardian Eye Pro, one-time purchase) • People and pets recognised on the device with Apple Vision • Motion, tamper and sound detection, each with adjustable sensitivity • Sound classification such as glass breaking, alarms or barking (iOS 15+) • Detection zones: draw exactly where the camera should watch • Event history kept on the phone • Every event is published as a standard ONVIF trigger, so your recorder can alert and record on it

CAMERA & VIDEO CONTROLS • Front / back camera, torch, and pinch-to-zoom • Resolution up to 1080p, frame rate up to 30 fps, JPEG quality • Orientation and focus mode (auto / locked) • Optional microphone audio

SECURITY & PRIVACY • Local network only — video never leaves your network • Username and password that you set yourself; the app ships with no default credentials • RTSP Digest and ONVIF WS-Security authentication • Credentials stored encrypted on the device (iOS Keychain)
