Skincare that actually works
Most skincare apps open with something to sell you. Luni opens with the shelf you already own, and the four questions that decide a purchase.
WHAT DO I OWN?
The catalog runs to 9,808 products across 252 brands, every one read from its published ingredient list, not its marketing. Or photograph the list on the back of the bottle — read on your phone, never uploaded. Or paste a link, or the list.
IS IT ANY GOOD?
Luni scores a formula on what an ingredient list can honestly support: which actives are in there, how confident we can be they sit at a useful amount, and how much of the name is hype. 994 of them — sunscreens and OTC formats — show a dash instead of a score: ingredient order tells you nothing about dose there, and a number we cannot stand behind is worse than none.
DOES IT FIT WHAT I ALREADY DO?
A score on its own is trivia. Luni weighs the product against your goals and the rest of your shelf, then gives one of six verdicts — Worth Adding, Good but Duplicate, Wait Until You Finish Another Product, Skip — with its reasoning. It builds your morning and evening routine out of what you own, flags conflicts and over-exfoliation, offers a night-by-night rotation for strong actives, and keeps the eye area its own thing, with its own coverage score.
SO WHAT SHOULD I BUY?
Usually less than you expect. The shopping list is built from real gaps, and when your shelf already covers your goals it says so instead of finding you something. Compare two products side by side. Use What I Own reads the whole shelf and tells you what to use now; Pro opens the rest — what to rotate, finish first, save, or give away.
AND IF YOU OWN AN LED MASK
The same loop, a different shelf, free. Pick your device from 34 masks and 131 programmes, choose your days, and Luni lays the sessions across your week. A session opens with a preparation checklist, then a timer that stops at the planned length, never past your device's own maximum — with no button anywhere to add a minute. Because Luni is what put your retinoid at night, it knows what goes on after a session and what is better saved for another evening. No dose is ever calculated: the light-output figures on a box are unregulated marketing numbers. Blue programmes are quoted from the manufacturer, not written by us. Safety questions come first, and they can only withhold — no answer clears you, and some send you to a clinician.
WHAT STAYS AFTERWARDS
Product history keeps what you finished or gave away — your own verdict and score, a private note — after it leaves your shelf. And any product's score, or any Learn article, goes out as an image card or a message.
LUNI PRO
The Advisor answers three questions free, then Pro: a chat that has read your shelf and your goals. The Skin Coach runs cosmetic check-ins and says when two photos are not fairly comparable; Pro opens the trends and the before-and-after. Routine Builder writes a full morning and evening from scratch, budget to premium. Plus the full shelf lists and unlimited analysis.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your goals, shelf, routine and sessions stay on your device. Coach photos are analysed and never stored on our servers. We don't sell your data or track you across other apps. Delete your account any time from Profile → Privacy & Data.
