HOW IT DECIDES The pick comes from a deterministic engine that reads a catalog of nearly 50,000 films. Every film is scored on more than a hundred things: its story, how it feels, how it's made, and how it plays in the room. Whether it makes you anxious. How much attention it wants. Whether it works at 11pm with someone half-asleep on your shoulder. There's no black box, and nothing built to keep you scrolling.

WHERE TO WATCH, BUILT IN Every pick shows where it's streaming. Tell PrimoReco which services you pay for and it only suggests films you can actually watch. Flip one toggle to hide anything you've already seen.

BROWSE WHEN YOU WANT TO Sometimes you'd rather dig around yourself. Stack filters for genre, decade, mood, story, and craft until you've built the exact shelf in your head, then take it apart one piece at a time.
