Features & Capabilities

ERAS A life, in any time.

You are born — somewhere, sometime, to someone. A child of the Stone Age, or the Renaissance, or a city among the stars. You don't choose where you start. You only choose what you do next.

Eras is a life simulator with one big idea: you don't just live a life — you live a lineage. Play one year at a time, from first breath to last. Then your story continues through your heir, carrying a single bloodline across nine ages of human history.

NINE AGES, ONE LINE Begin in the Stone Age and journey through the Bronze Age, Rome, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, the Industrial Age, the Atomic Age, Modern Day, and the Far Future. Each era reshapes everything — the work you can do, the wars you're pulled into, the way you make and lose a fortune. When an age ends, the same soul is reborn into the next, and what your family built carries forward.

LIVE IT YOUR WAY Go to school or run wild. Climb a career or found a company. Invest, buy property, chase fame, enlist, run for office — or turn to crime and rule the underworld. Fall in love, marry, raise children, and shape the people they become. Every system bends to the age you live in.

A NAME THAT OUTLASTS YOU Become a war hero, a tyrant, a saint, or a scoundrel — your reputation follows you, and the world treats you accordingly. Earn titles, build a legacy, and pass down heirlooms that surface generations later. The greatest players don't win a life. They build a dynasty.

TEMPT FATE Take a seat at games of chance, gamble on a risky scheme, and — when the worst happens — rewind the year to cheat death. Just don't lean on it too often.

ENDLESS LIVES No two runs are alike. Rags to riches, a quiet life well lived, an empire raised and ruined — start again and the story rewrites itself.

How will your bloodline be remembered?

this game is better than bitlife by a stretch, the only 3 complaints i have are 1: The random deaths, the deaths in this game is insanely random and dosent even make sense, you can die to Illnesses despite ur health being at 100 and deaths like accident and violence make no sense, death via accident should only happen due to the users actions. 2. The game is slightly historically inaccurate, Ik it’s nearly impossible for a (i assume) single person to make a game historically accurate and make wars start and end on the exact year but in no way should kevian rus ( also Kevian Rus wasn’t rlly a nation but a term to descibe the loose political federations of rus) ever go to war with songhai china, and u could try to make major events happen during a specific time, like example: if ur born or living in 1237 in Cumania (which i dont think is in the game) their shoukd be a huge chance that you die to mongol invasions which should be labeled as violence via war, and another problem i have with this category is how the atomic age in some countries doesn’t even start in 1945 but happens either way earlier in a country that never had or has nukes (like Greece), and many other eventful historical wars should be added, not every war but insanely historical ones, like revolutions, civil wars, etc. 3: If you choose to live as a distant relative ur entire family won’t really have the same last name as you. Which is a minor issue but another issue i have is that in the primitive era the lands are crudely named, like what is the copper hills and old peninsula supposed to be? i like the ones that require a quick google search to learn like the caral valleys while some like the maize villages make no sense since that could be virtually everywhere.

Hi, I’ve enjoyed playing this game, but as someone who’s using VoiceOver, every time I’d like to exit a section of the game I have to close the app and reopen it. It’s quite frustrating over long periods of time, is there anyway you could fix this?
