Meowdex is the free cat-catching game for iPhone. Step outside, spot real cats in your neighbourhood, and photograph them to add them to your personal Meowdex — a growing collection of every cat you've ever found. Ready to Catch Cats? The app features a Cat Identifier - Breed and Coat Pattern Cat Tracker - A real-time map with all of the cats spotted in the entire world. The locations are fuzzed so cats are protected.

On-device AI detects the cat in your photo, lifts it from the background, identifies its breed, and reveals its rarity. Will it be a common tabby, an uncommon tuxedo, a rare calico — or the elusive legendary?

HOW TO PLAY

• Head outside and find a real cat
• Tap the bait button to attract it (uses one treat)
• When it's interested, hit the shutter to catch it
• The AI reveals its breed, coat pattern, and rarity
• Your cat joins your Meowdex forever

Cats are never disturbed — you're photographing them, not touching them. The game encourages respectful, responsible cat spotting outdoors.

YOUR MEOWDEX

Every cat you catch is saved to your personal collection with its name, rarity, breed, and the location where you found it (privacy-fuzzed by default). Browse your gallery, revisit favourites, and share your best catches.

A new community cat is featured every day on the map. Tap to see who caught it, where in the world it was spotted, and what rarity it turned out to be.

TREAT PACKS
