Overview

Features & Capabilities

Turn every practice session into progress with Virtuoso: log pieces, use a metronome, track streaks, review goals, and keep your music work organized from warmup to run.

Progress tracking helps make your effort easier to understand. Virtuoso shows practice totals, streaks, daily goal progress, recent sessions, charts, and achievements, giving you a quick view of what you have done and where your time is going. Instead of guessing whether you practiced enough this week, you can review your history and see the pattern. Practice plans help you start with more intention. Create plan items for pieces, exercises, technique blocks, or goals, then use them as a guide when you sit down to play. A planned session can keep warmups, focused problem spots, review, and new material from blending into one vague block of time. History tools make old sessions useful. Search and review previous entries by piece, instrument, date, or notes, then use that record to decide what needs attention next. This is helpful for students who need to remember lesson assignments, players preparing for performances, and anyone who wants a more reliable practice journal. Virtuoso is also useful when you want to keep your own records. Export a practice report as a PDF, or use JSON import and backup tools when you need to move or restore your practice data. These tools are designed to keep your practice history portable and easy to review. Optional microphone-based listening features may be used when you choose to enable them. The app asks for microphone permission only so audio-based practice feedback can work inside the app. If you do not need those features, you can still use the practice log, plans, metronome, goals, charts, and history tools. Features include: Practice logging for pieces, exercises, instruments, minutes, ratings, difficulty, focus status, and notes. A built-in metronome with adjustable BPM for steady tempo work. Daily goal tracking, streaks, total practice time, charts, achievements, and recent history. Practice plan tools for organizing what to work on before you begin. Searchable session history so you can revisit old entries and spot patterns. PDF export and JSON import options for personal records and backups. Optional microphone support for audio-based practice features when enabled. Virtuoso is made for music students, piano players, self-taught musicians, teachers, and anyone who wants practice to feel less scattered. It does not try to replace lessons or the work of playing your instrument. Instead, it gives you a calm structure around that work: what you planned, what you practiced, how long you spent, what improved, and what still needs attention. Use it for a five-minute warmup, a focused technical drill, a long repertoire session, or a full week of lessons and goals. Over time, the small entries become a useful record of effort, consistency, and growth. Virtuoso helps you show up, stay organized, and make the next practice session easier to start. It keeps your practice visible day after day.
