Pool Set AI is an intelligent volleyball assistant designed to help players, coaches, and enthusiasts better understand technical and tactical situations on the court. By analyzing a photo of a game moment or a written description of a volleyball scenario, the app generates a structured report that highlights strengths, weaknesses, and possible improvements.

The onboarding experience introduces users to the core functionality of the application. Learn how AI can analyze passing technique, player positioning, and tactical setups. Review an example report and discover how the built-in AI coach can answer detailed volleyball questions through an interactive chat.

The main screen offers two analysis modes. Users can upload a photo of a game moment or provide a written description of a situation. Photos may include a set, serve reception, defensive positioning, or a complete court setup. Written descriptions can contain information about rotations, player roles, opponent pressure, and tactical challenges.

After submitting a photo or description, Pool Set AI generates a detailed report in markdown format. The report includes an evaluation score on a ten-point scale, observations regarding player movement and positioning, and an assessment of the overall effectiveness of the action or tactical setup.

For passing situations, the AI may analyze body positioning, hand placement, footwork, movement toward the ball, balance, and execution quality. For broader tactical situations, the report can evaluate spacing, rotational structure, defensive coverage, transition readiness, and potential weaknesses that opponents could exploit.

In addition to the technical review, users receive practical recommendations for improvement. The AI coach may suggest adjustments to movement patterns, positioning choices, communication strategies, or tactical decision-making. Every report also includes two or three alternative options that could be considered in similar situations.

The integrated AI chat allows users to continue the discussion after receiving the report. Players and coaches can ask questions about rotations, offensive systems, defensive strategies, serve reception patterns, setter decision-making, training methods, and match preparation. The chat retains the context of the latest analysis session to provide more accurate and relevant guidance.

To simplify access to previous work, the home screen displays the latest analysis session. Users can return to the most recent report and continue the conversation with the AI coach without repeating the entire process. Only one active analysis session is retained, keeping the experience focused and organized.

The Profile section allows users to personalize the application through a custom avatar and volleyball preferences. Players can specify their role, such as setter, opposite hitter, libero, outside hitter, or other positions. Additional preferences like skill level and beach or indoor volleyball specialization help provide more relevant coaching insights.
