We request the absolute minimum permission level. The optional Google integration (for users who choose the bring-your-own-storage path at signup) uses the per-file scope — we can only read or write the specific files the app creates, nothing else in the user's account. For users on the default hosted storage, your data lives on infrastructure we operate, isolated per-user at the database and storage layer.

Your data is yours. Delete it any time, account and all.
