An extra layer of water awareness for the moments that matter. WaterWatch is a wearable water-awareness system for parents and caregivers of young children near water. A child wears a small wristband. When the band detects water, a hub sounds an alarm and sends a notification to your phone. REQUIRES WATERWATCH HARDWARE — sold separately at wtrwatch.com. The WaterWatch system consists of a wristband sensor your child wears and a hub that connects to your Wi-Fi. The app pairs them together, monitors their status, and delivers alerts. Without the hub and bands, the app cannot function. WHY WATERWATCH EXISTS Drowning is the #1 cause of accidental death for children ages 1-4. About 70% of toddler drownings happen during non-swim times, and 88% occur with at least one adult present. These tragedies often happen in the brief moments when adult attention drifts. WaterWatch gives you an extra layer of awareness alongside fencing, pool alarms, and supervision. If a child enters water unexpectedly, the system raises an audible alarm at the hub and sends a notification to your phone. HOW IT WORKS

Connect your hub to Wi-Fi Pair your bands one at a time and name each one Place the hub near the water area with access to power Test each band in water in the location where it'll be used Your child wears the band whenever they're near water

If water contacts the band's sensors, the hub alarms and your phone receives a notification. IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ WaterWatch is an awareness aid, NOT a safety device. It does NOT replace adult supervision. It does NOT replace pool fencing, alarms, life jackets, or any other safety equipment. It does NOT prevent drowning. Always have an adult actively watching children near water. Water safety requires multiple layers of protection working together. WaterWatch is designed to be one of those layers — not the only one. WHO IT'S FOR Parents and caregivers of children ages 1-5 are our primary users, though WaterWatch works for children of any age. SETUP GUIDANCE The app guides you through setup step by step. We recommend testing your specific setup in the actual location where you'll use the bands — walls, distance, and other devices can affect range. PRIVACY WaterWatch collects only what's needed to operate the system: push notification tokens, device identifiers for paired hubs and bands, and crash diagnostics.
