WHY COLLECTORS USE COMICLENS

Know which issue you're really holding. Two copies of the same title are not the same comic. The issue number, the printing, the cover variant, and the era it came from all change what a book is worth. ComicLens reads the cover and helps you match the likely issue, so you understand the specific book in your hands — not just the series.

Spot the key issues and variants that matter. First appearances, origin issues, and sought-after variant covers are the books collectors chase. ComicLens flags when a match looks like a key issue or a variant printing, so you don't pass over a significant book in a stack of commons.

See an estimated value range. For each match, ComicLens shows a market reference range so you have a realistic sense of worth before you buy, sell, or trade. Change the condition grade and the range updates with it. These are reference estimates, not appraisals, offers, or financial advice — actual sale prices depend on condition, demand, and where you sell.

Grade condition with confidence. Condition drives a comic's value more than almost anything else. ComicLens walks you through the collector grading scale — from Mint and Near Mint down through Very Fine, Fine, Good, and Poor on the familiar 0.1 to 10.0 ladder — so you can grade your own books consistently and record the result with each issue. Slabbed or raw, you log it your way.

Build a collection that stays with you. Save every book you scan into a personal collection on your device. Track titles, issue numbers, printings, conditions, and estimated values, sort and filter your boxes, and watch your collection's total reference value take shape as it grows.

3. Set the condition grade to refine the estimated value range.

When online recognition is enabled, the photo you scan is sent securely to our recognition service to look up the comic, and is not used for advertising or tracking. SUBSCRIPTION ComicLens is an auto-renewing subscription. Plans are offered weekly and annually (for example, $12.99 per week or $89.99 per year; promotional pricing such as $59.99 per year may be available). Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the same price and period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
