Houseful: Shared Calendar

Reminders that keep coming back until you are actually done, plus a countdown on your Lock Screen. Nothing is behind a paywall, and early users keep it that way.

Some reminders are easy to ignore. These are not those.

Houseful is a shared calendar for the people you live with, but the reason people keep it is the reminders. A normal reminder shows up once, politely, and is gone by the time your hands are free. A Houseful reminder comes back until you tell it you are done.

FOUR LEVELS OF LOUD

You pick the level on each reminder, so a dentist appointment and taking the trash out are not treated the same.

Silent. It sits in the app and never makes a sound. Notify. One notification, once. Nudge. It comes back on a widening schedule, up to five times, until you mark it done. Everything. The same nudges, closer together, plus a live countdown card on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island until the moment arrives.

Reminder notifications carry a Done button, so clearing one is a single tap and never means opening the app.

CIRCLES

A circle is a shared calendar. Your household is one. Your parents can be another. Friends planning a trip can be a third. You can be in as many as you want, each in its own color, and every event says which circle it belongs to.

You also get a Personal circle nobody else can see, and on each event you choose what the rest of the circle sees: everything, only that you are busy, or nothing at all. Put people on an event and they can answer going, maybe or no, straight from the notification.

INVITE BY EMAIL

Invite someone by email and Houseful asks them directly. They open the app, see who invited them and to which circle, and tap Join. No codes to copy.

IDEAS AND LISTS

Catch the thought before it evaporates. The restaurant somebody mentioned, the gift idea, the thing you keep meaning to do. Everyone in that circle hears about it, and each idea shows who wrote it, in their color.

Shopping, to-do and wishlist lists work the same way. Add something to a shared list and the rest of the circle hears about it too.

ALSO IN THERE

Birthdays and anniversaries, with how long until the next one. A morning summary of your day, at the hour you choose. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets for what is next. Type "dentist Tue 2pm" or "remind me to call mom tonight" and it works out what you meant. A read only link so your Houseful events show up in Apple or Google Calendar. Dark and light themes, and a color per person.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS

Houseful is built by one person. It is small, it gets fixed fast, and the address on the support page reaches the person who wrote the code.

No ads. No trackers. Nothing sold or rented. Houseful does not touch your contacts, your photos or your other calendars.

Nothing in the app is behind a paywall today. If a paid tier ever arrives, everything that works right now stays free, and anyone already using Houseful keeps what they have.

Notifications need the iPhone app. The web version cannot send them yet.
