Features & Capabilities

Friends together but no cards? Turn on Wi-Fi, sit close — one phone each, 13 classic card games at one table. No sign-up, no internet, no server. Solo play too.

Cards at the Table brings thirteen traditional card and tile games to friends who are actually together. Turn on Wi-Fi, sit close, one phone each, and play around the same table — no sign-up, no internet, no server.

THIRTEEN GAMES, EACH ITS OWN • Big Two (2–8): beat the pile with a bigger combo; first to empty their hand wins. • Chinese Poker / 十三支 (2–4): split 13 cards into three poker hands; scoop all three to double. • Sevens (4): build suit runs out from the 7s; fewest cards laid down wins. • Red-Dot Fishing / 撿紅點 (2–4): capture table cards by summing to ten or matching; score on red cards. • Ninety-Nine (2–8): add to a running total without passing 99; bust and lose a life — last one alive wins. • Bridge (4): bid a contract and play 13 tricks in partnerships; first side to two games takes the rubber. • Hearts (4): dodge the hearts and the Queen of Spades; lowest penalty total wins. • Six-Card Golf (4): swap cards to make the lowest grid — golf for a low score. • Cheat (4): play cards face-down and bluff the rank; a caught liar takes the whole pile. • Mexican Train (4): chain dominoes onto open trains; fewest leftover pips wins. • Daifugō (4; solo up to 6): Japanese climbing with revolutions; finishing order decides who pays tribute. • Hanafuda Koi-Koi (2): match flower cards into yaku, then stop or "koi-koi" to risk for more. • Dou Dizhu (3): bid for the landlord, then one-vs-two climbing with bombs and rockets that multiply the stakes.

FACE TO FACE, LOCAL ONLY — not online matchmaking, no strangers. Devices connect directly over the same Wi-Fi switch (same idea as AirDrop), with no router or internet needed. Host a table; friends tap "Join a nearby table."

PLAY SOLO TOO — no friends around? Every game is fully playable solo (vs rule-based AI; Bridge's solo is same-device pass-and-play), each with a "?" how-to-play page.

TAP-TO-CLAIM SEATS — one shared lobby for all 13 games; play on your turn, see the ranking when it ends.

iPad SHARED TABLE — place an iPad in the middle as the communal board.

FOUR LANGUAGES — English, 繁體中文, 日本語, 简体中文, with a how-to page per game.

PURE PLAY, NO CHIPS — no betting, no chips, no money; scoring is just the cards.

CLEAN & RESPECTFUL — no account, no login, no personal data collected, no third-party tracking, no ads.

Built from scratch in native SwiftUI, with classic card faces, hanafuda art, and self-made sound effects.
