Features & Capabilities

Roadlore is a hands-free audio travel companion for drives, city walks, and imaginary journeys.

Tap START LORE and let Roadlore turn the world around you into a moving audio story. It notices nearby places, public history, geography, food, landmarks, odd corners, and useful stops, then speaks naturally over your car speakers, earbuds, or lock screen.

Roadlore is built for motion:

  • Driving mode follows the road ahead and keeps narration flowing.
  • Walking mode uses shorter, nearby stories with more breathing room.
  • Imaginary Journey lets you visit a place from wherever you are.
  • Ask mode lets you interrupt with questions like "what is that building?" or "anything good for lunch?"
  • Stop ideas blend practical food/place suggestions with the story of the area, then hand off to Apple Maps only when you choose.

Release builds use Roadlore Cloud so provider keys are not stored in the app. A first purchase includes starter credits for the full cloud-powered experience.

Roadlore is not turn-by-turn navigation. It is the voice in the passenger seat: curious, useful, occasionally dry, and usually looking out the window before you do.
