Jankify gives you two ways to make a mess: build pixel-art space oddities from scratch, or feed it a photo, GIF, or video and break it beautifully.

CREATE SOMETHING FROM NOTHING

Roll a seed and get a new piece of a tiny universe:

• Backgrounds and deep starscapes
• Rocky planets and strange little worlds
• Symmetrical creatures and sprites
• Ships in six classes, from scouts to dreadnoughts
• Pixel effects and animated explosions

Every seed makes a repeatable recipe. Keep the part you like, vary the rest, save a PNG, or copy a recipe link to share it.

Effects and explosions are properly unruly: the seed changes their shape, motion, detail, and debris instead of merely repainting the same result.

EDIT A PHOTO, GIF, OR VIDEO

Choose from eight handmade looks. Pixel goes chunky, with optional retro palettes and quantized color. Lite Brite rebuilds your photo as glowing pegs on a black board. ASCII turns it into text, while Emoji makes a mosaic from thousands of real emoji.

Want something sketchier? Hatch adds tonal pen-and-ink cross-hatching, and Rough draws loose outlines. Polygon and Voronoi shatter the picture into triangles or cells.

Drag a few sliders, hit a button, and see what happens. Save a crisp PNG or export clean SVG vectors from most modes. Pixel mode can also produce box-shadow CSS, an HTML table, Unicode blocks, JSON, or plain text.

MAKE IT MOVE

Turn an animated GIF or short video into looping pixel art, glowing pegs, ASCII, emoji, hatching, or a rough sketch. Set the duration and frame rate, then export an animated GIF, a PNG sprite sheet, or processed video.

Jankify trims and scales long clips to keep things responsive. It bounds animation timing, respects reduced-motion preferences, and warns before producing rapid animation.
