Discover location-based chat rooms—called salons—on the map. Join while you are physically there, chat with the people around you, and continue reading after you leave. Because only people at the location can post, every conversation stays grounded in a shared place.

DISCOVER CONVERSATIONS NEARBY • Explore active salons around you on the map. • Join public salons when you are in range. • Scan a salon QR code to open the conversation for that place. • Opt in to alerts when a salon you have joined becomes active nearby.

CHAT YOUR WAY • Send text, photos, GIFs, stickers, and voice messages. • Reply to messages, add reactions, and see when contacts are online. • Continue conversations privately with accepted contacts. • Keep salon chats and direct messages together in one inbox.

CREATE A PLACE FOR CONVERSATION • Create a salon for a café, park, campus, event, or any shared place. • Invite people using a place-specific QR code or sticker. • Moderate your salon and manage requests to join private salons.

BUILT FOR LOCAL, ACCOUNTABLE CONVERSATION Accounts require a verified phone number and confirmed email. Built-in safety tools let you report content, block people, and delete your account directly from Settings.

Core chat and community features are free.

Qiela is designed for people aged 16 and older. Location access is used to discover nearby salons and confirm that you are present before posting. Background location is optional and is used only for proximity alerts when enabled.
