HOW IT PLAYS

• Played on an 8x8 board with 16 men per side
• You play White and always move first; the computer plays Black
• Men move one square orthogonally - forward or sideways, never backward or diagonally
• Reach the opponent's back row and your man becomes a king
• Kings "fly": they slide any number of empty squares along the four orthogonal directions
• Capture by jumping an enemy piece into the empty square just beyond it
• Kings capture from a distance, landing on any empty square past the piece
• Chain multiple jumps in a single turn for powerful combinations
• Win by capturing all enemy pieces or leaving your opponent with no legal move
