Open CNC G-code and common CAD exchange files locally on iPhone and iPad. Inspect toolpaths, model bounds, feeds and 3D geometry.

GCodeReader CNC is a local viewer for CNC toolpaths and CAD exchange files.

Open G-code files from Files and inspect the 3D toolpath with axes, grid, playback, estimated machining time, feed values, spindle speed and editable feed/spindle fields for quick review. The app also opens common CAD exchange formats including DXF, STEP, IGES, BREP, STL, OBJ, PLY, USD, Alembic, DAE and SCN for geometry inspection.

The viewer works locally on the device and does not require sign-in or cloud upload.

SolidWorks SLDPRT/SLDASM and native DWG files are not parsed directly in this version; export to STEP, IGES, STL or DXF for viewing.
