Strix: Numismatic Lab is a hands-on lab for the curious coin collector. Every coin in the library arrives as a case file — an unidentified specimen photographed front and back, with a brief about where and how it surfaced. Pick up the loupe, examine the surfaces, read the mint mark, weigh the metal, then walk through a short chain of questions that lead you to the era, the mint city, the issuing ruler, the denomination, and the grade.

Solve a case and the coin enters your velvet Vault, where you can flip it, rotate it, and read the full historical note that opens up only after a correct identification.

Wander the Mints Map to navigate by place — Rome, Athens, Constantinople, London, Philadelphia, Buenos Aires, Tokyo — and tap a mint to see what was struck there. Spin the Eras Wheel to navigate by time, from antiquity to the modern day. Step into the Strike Lab to watch how coins were actually made: hammered between dies, screw-pressed in the Renaissance, milled in the eighteenth century, and stamped at scale in the modern mint.
