Back up and restore Create a complete backup with folders, Trash, original pages, recognised text and notes. Password-protected backups are encrypted on device. Restore adds data without replacing documents already on the device.

Private by design Flatscan does not upload your document images, PDFs, OCR text, search index or backups to Flatscan servers. No account required. No analytics SDK. No advertising SDK.

Start with a 14-day full-access Pro trial. Without an active trial or Pro, scans still save locally, clean PDF export remains available without a watermark, and the free tier includes 10 OCR pages each calendar month for in-app search.

Flatscan Pro keeps OCR and search unlimited for saved documents and unlocks searchable PDF export. Subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store and can be managed in your Apple Account settings.

OCR quality depends on lighting, blur, document condition, language and handwriting. Flatscan helps make documents searchable, but it does not provide legal, medical, tax or financial advice.
